Assessment Tools
Objective assessments can provide rich insights into your leadership style. They have the unique advantage of providing valuable information about your style that otherwise would take much longer to glean just from the coaching experience. These assessment tools offer an exceptional way for you as a leader to grow in self-knowledge, a trait exceptional leaders possess to a high degree. By understanding your natural style more clearly and the inherent strengths and drawbacks it entails, you are much better positioned to make conscious choices about improving your effectiveness as a leader.
There are a number of instruments available for our use at Cypress River, and the specific ones used can be customized for you. The bulk of our tools are available to take online, allowing you the ease of taking them whenever and wherever you prefer, with the results readily available for our use. Two tools we commonly use are the Myers Briggs and the FIRO-B. Taken together they provide a strong picture of your strengths and likely growth-edges as a leader. Drawing on the information from the interpretive report, we are better positioned to help you grow in mastery as a leader and performer.
