Nick Howard founded Cypress River because he feels called to support Christian leaders who are expanding and building the Body of Christ.  Cypress River is fulfilling his dream of honoring God by supporting and challenging Christian leaders who want to grow.

Nick has been drawn to understanding human nature, leadership and organizations since his college days in the mid-eighties where he studied organizational communications and psychology.  Those interests have only deepened over the years, leading to earning his doctorate in psychology from Wheaton College in 1999.   As professional coaching developed as a field, he earned his certificate in coaching from the Hudson Institute in Santa Barbara, CA.

Nick is happily married to his wife Jamie. They have three young children, Alexa, Nate, and Russell, who are each a definite blessing. For rest and renewal  Nick enjoys playing golf, exercising, reading, retreats and good movies. He and his family live in Plainfield Illinois, where they are close to family and involved in a local church.
